Great job by the guys - install required more customization than originally planned (thanks older home), but issues were well communicated in advance of work done. Big upgrade to our back patio/family room!

Caleb and Gunner took excellent care of us! They were friendly, reliable and listened to my requests. The work turned out beautifully and they didn’t hesitate when I asked for adjustments during the process. Their response time was from my inquiry to the completion of the project was impressive too! I had them cut out the wall in between my kitchen and living room, creating a bar and opening up the space. I couldn’t be happier with the results 🙂 Way to go NSHM!

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing North Seattle Handyman Service for a few home repairs, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, their customer service was outstanding. Not only were they prompt in scheduling, but their communication throughout the process was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way. The handymen who came to my apartment was skilled, efficient, and courteous. Overall, a great experience -- I'd definitely recommend them. They truly made the entire experience hassle-free and pleasant.

Incredibly grateful for Pete and his teammates for retrofitting a space for a dishwasher into my early 1900s home’s existing kitchen counter. They were transparent about problems that came up, and willing to work out satisfying solutions. I’ve already got some ideas for future work and they’ll be the first people I reach out to.

I love North Seattle Handyman team! Any time I need help around my house, they deliver, no matter how big or small the project is. Most recently, I needed to have my bathroom sinks and toilets caulked. Dan was helping me with that, and wow! - outstanding job, he used amazing silicone caulking product and the result is gorgeous, exceeded my expectations! So happy I found them! Highly recommend.

6 units in our townhome HOA group needed replacement front steps & porches. This is the third -- but biggest -- job we've hired North Seattle to help with and are absolutely thrilled at the results. They replaced boards with weatherproof composite which looks great and will last a long time, and finished all 6 in under 2 weeks.

We have used the North Seattle Handyman team for various jobs around our home over the last several years and have been very happy each time. In 2023, we had them completely remodel our kitchen. We had spent a fair amount of time researching, contacting, interviewing contractors, etc, and it's a draining process. That is, until we realized that Caleb and his crew do remodel work! From start to finish the remodel process was SO much easier and dare I say, enjoyable, than we previously had thought it could be. Everything about working NSHM on this big job was a pleasant experience. The project was completed on time, within budget, communication was great, the crew always shows respect of the homeowners' property, space, and time - I could go on. Do not hesitate to contact them and we will definitely have them remodel one of our bathrooms in the future. We love our new kitchen!

We consulted with them on several projects. We were very impressed because they gave very sincere and accurate advice on them. Although the timing was not right for us this time, but we will definitely work with them next time!

I recently used North Seattle Handyman service to reinstall a dishwasher that had come out of its secure location. It was an eyesore and pain in the butt to open and close without it coming half way into the kitchen. I chose them by their reviews that were on google and the fact that they were locals, not a large corporation.. Finding somebody to do a small project is basically impossible. I’ve been trying for several years to get this done. I followed their instructions and filled out the online request. I’ll be honest I’m not really a fan of that procedure but that’s just my personal view. I prefer a phone number.were you can call somebody and talk to them about your project, etc. but times have changed. They got back to me about a week later, which I feel it’s too long, but at least they got back to me. After that everything was smooth sailing. Dan my technician came out and assessed the situation. We made some adjustments to the work based on my needs and it was completed professionally and timely. Dan was great. I then needed him to come back because something came loose and they were Johnny on the spot to get that taken care of for me. I was really impressed with how quickly they wanted to make sure everything was right. I would hire thrm again and again I feel their pricing was fair for the job.

Caleb and his team are great! They’ve been our go-to for most of our home projects and have been amazing at bringing all of my designs to life with their professional carpentry work. We’ve worked with them for several years now and they’ve been so dependable for all of our projects: adding patio roofing, replacing baseboards, installing lights, replacing doors and helping me maximize the space in my home.

Updating this review: I already loved my home, but the work that Dan has done has improved my quality of life even more. His skills are many and his commitment to quality is notable. There are too many projects to list at this point from small to big. Dan was great. Installed a bidet, hung a rack (even thinking to use a marker for the screws to match the rack), and answered a couple questions that came up while he was here. Meticulous work and conscientious. Definitely calling them again.

We have used North Seattle Handyman on many occasions and for many different orojects, from small to large. They are skilled, helpful, fairly priced, and perhaps most importantly, reliable. We’ve referred them to others, who have had similar experiences. We will continue to turn to NSHM for work we need done.

Excellent Service. The handyman was professional, friendly, and took care of the issue (high ceiling smoke detector) quickly. Will definitely keep in mind for any future small issues.

We’ve used North Handyman services for a few projects around the house. They are fast and neat with their work. I strongly recommend them and will have them back for future projects.

Peter was really great to work with! He did a great job installing an AC unit on a difficult awning window. The installer was incredibly collaborative on this aspect. We could easily talk through options, and I could quickly run for changes based on our mutual decision. Specifically he noticed that my installed disposal, which I was going to keep (because the super duper model was so expensive) was old, and a new one could possibly give us some space options. When he pointed out that mine was 1HP, I realized that the same brand in a 2HP model was the reason for the expense, but their 1HP was selling for $99 off the shelf at Home Depot. He looked up the specs of the 1HP model and was able to determine it would give us the necessary room, and we would be able to accommodate the deeper sink. Problem solved, and I got my desired outcome! Bottom-line: we came in on-time and at bid. A little under, actually. That sink has changed the character of my everyday experience in the kitchen, primarily because I got what I wanted because NSH was happy to think it through with their customer. I will be upgrading my oven this year and am already talking to NSH about doing it.

Recently our back porch had problems with dry rot and a sagging part of the roof area; plus it needed a new gutter and down spout. We hired North Seattle Handyman to do the work. We were so pleased with the results! They sent Alan who arrived on time, was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Also he used no bad language and had no loud music playing. He worked hard all day repairing the porch to an excellent condition! He put up the new gutter and down spout just perfectly. Our porch will now last many years!
